Spanning seven hectares, the Academia Atlas FC Sports Center integrates six professional-grade fields with specialized facilities including team clubhouses, sports science labs, administrative offices, and support services. Sordo Madaleno’s design approach emphasizes modular efficiency, which will allow for spaces to adapt and evolve with the club’s needs.
A defining feature of the building’s design is the reticulated roof system that unifies the various geometrically distinct volumes to create visual harmony and allow natural elements to permeate the built environment. Material selection consciously incorporates regional resources and construction techniques.
