Meet Rashel Hariri, the Founder of She’s Interesting, a media company on a mission to create more seven-figure women founders.
After recognizing a significant gap in content tailored to women leaders over 30, Rashel launched She’s Interesting to shine a light on the journeys of founders, investors, and changemakers while also offering actionable insights for success. With over 15 years of experience in corporate roles and subsequent success as a solo consultant, Rashel’s transition into empowering women was a natural evolution rooted in her mission to bridge the wealth gap. By sharing stories, strategies, and resources from seven-figure entrepreneurs and building a supportive community, She’s Interesting empowers women to pursue entrepreneurship and investment. What began as a way to empower women to grow their finances has since evolved into a full-fledged platform for women to share their stories and gain the tools and knowledge to break financial ceilings.
We asked Rashel about the founding story of She’s Interesting, how her personal values have shaped her business decisions, and how her mindset toward risk has evolved.

Tell us the story behind your company’s founding. How and why did you start working on She’s Interesting?
I am the founder, producer, and host of She’s Interesting, a media company created to elevate the voices of women founders, investors, and change makers and help women start and scale their businesses. I noticed a gap in the market for content tailored to women over 30, highlighting their entrepreneurial journeys in a raw, unfiltered format that provides tangible insights for success. Much of the online content about entrepreneurship is targeted at 20-somethings or men, alienating a large subsection of powerful, ambitious women.
With 12 years in corporate roles and three years as a solo consultant, I learned that creating a six-figure consulting business came naturally to me. However, I wanted to discover the recipe for scaling to seven figures. A small fraction of women-led businesses reach seven figures, highlighting a lack of structures and support to help us achieve this level of success. I made it my mission to create content that supports women entrepreneurs like myself so we can grow and build together. I believe that if you can’t find what you’re looking for, the best thing to do is to make it.
What problem does She’s Interesting solve?
She’s Interesting directly addresses the wealth gap for women in America by providing access to resources, tools, and a supportive community for women entrepreneurs to build and invest. Our mission is to inspire more women to become entrepreneurs and provide them with the insights and community to do it successfully. We start with our core offering of long-format, informative interviews with seven-figure entrepreneurs, and we are expanding our community, guides, and resources to support this mission. We are working with partners and sponsors who understand that the future of our economy depends on supporting women-led businesses.

Reflecting on your entrepreneurial journey, how have your personal values and ethics shaped major business decisions?
My personal values and ethics have been the bedrock of every major business decision I’ve made. Integrity, transparency, and a commitment to empowering others are at the core of She’s Interesting. When I decided to leave my corporate job and start my own business, it was because I wanted to create something that truly resonated with my values.
Every partnership we form and every piece of content we create is driven by the desire to level the playing field for women entrepreneurs. For example, when building our community and selecting interviewees, I prioritize diversity and authenticity. It’s essential to me that we showcase a wide range of voices and stories, providing genuine insights and inspiration.
Additionally, I believe in the power of paying it forward. This philosophy has led me to invest time and resources into creating tools and guides that can help other women succeed. Making decisions through the lens of my values ensures that She’s Interesting remains not just a business but a mission-driven platform that stands for something greater.
How has your mindset towards failure and risk-taking evolved?
I used to be a perfectionist, striving to make everything I worked on flawless. However, a few detours and speed bumps taught me that perfectionism is not a healthy approach to business or work. By releasing myself from these incredibly high and difficult standards, I found I could work more efficiently and accomplish more.
From leaving my high-paying corporate tech job to starting my own business and eventually cutting back on clients to build She’s Interesting, I’ve learned life is not linear. The most incredible things happen when you embrace the unknown. Perfectionism makes you believe you need everything figured out before taking action, which is one of the biggest lies we’ve been conditioned to believe, especially as women. Taking risks, however big or small, and learning to build the plane while you fly is how most entrepreneurs go from zero to seven figures.

We dare you to brag. What achievements are you most proud of?
I’m incredibly proud of the milestones we’ve hit with She’s Interesting. First and foremost, I successfully transitioned from a high-paying corporate job to building my own six-figure consulting business. This leap not only tested my skills but also solidified my belief in the power of taking risks and trusting my vision.
In a short amount of time, we’ve reached 100M impressions, thousands of listens to the podcast, over 1,800 community members, and have partnered with some incredible sponsors!
What started as a podcast interviewing inspiring women entrepreneurs has now evolved into a dynamic media company with a growing community, extensive resources, and influential partnerships.
I’m also proud of the impact we’ve made on the entrepreneurial landscape for women. By providing accessible, high-quality content and tools, we’ve empowered many women to take the leap into entrepreneurship and scale their businesses. The feedback and success stories from our community are a testament to the value we’re creating.
Lastly, I’m proud of our commitment to diversity and inclusion. We’ve built a platform that celebrates and amplifies a wide range of voices, ensuring that women from all backgrounds can see themselves represented and find the support they need to succeed.
What is the advice that has had the biggest impact on your entrepreneurial journey?
Be strategic, don’t overthink it, and outsource tasks that take up too much mental load. This advice has saved me countless hours of ruminating and grunt work. If something can be solved by outsourcing, do it. If you need to make a decision, make it quickly and move on. Being an entrepreneur means making decisions from the moment you wake up until you log off. Don’t vacillate.
