If crude oil rises back above $70, that could provide a catalyst as well. Also, on a weekly chart, I see 3 recent up weeks in heavy volume, that’s another sign of institutional demand. week. From the tenor of the conversation this AM you’d think we’re down 5% for the week. Wednesday was a pretty decisive signal to back away adds made on Monday/Tuesday. We need to see progress before re-engaging in a material way in my view. The actual Nasdaq volume was *slightly* lower vs. the prior day. Hi Chris, you typically don’t short stocks or the market much, right? I’m more likely to short the market. CRWV ipo should give a good insight in to the A.I. market going forward. The weak CoreWeave IPO pricing was not a good sign. There should be a Nobel Prize for market timing. IBD (Chris and the team) would easily win it this year! Still amazed at how quickly and skillfully the Big Picture went from 80-100% invested to 0-20%. pulse of the market. Too many trend traders just refuse to acknowledge a bad market and continue to look for ideas to trade, losing their gains from the prior bull. Let the market show you what to do, and if shorting is working, that is

Well consumer sentiment weak (and Feb. consumer spending below views). There’s a real risk that the economy stalls out or goes into recession. Stagflation fears are rising for sure. FWIW, the 2-year yield, more close tied to Fed policy outlook,
is down solidly but less than the 10-year yield, which is more about the economy. Leif, do you prefer silver to gold? Silver in position while gold extended GDX? Fading here but a great run Ali question for you on DASH and generally; in what scenario do you wait until the close before stopping out versus selling immediately (or 30mins/1hr aft the open for example) when the price goes below your stop. I try to be patient to end of day — unless things are really bad. Think DeepSeek day. I did not wait until end of day, waited 1-2 hours or so I believe and was selling in pieces Ali, how long are you going to hang on to DASH? If we close here/if it can’t improve — will be exiting.
