Ubisoft has launched the R6Share Web Shop as an online platform to facilitate the acquisition of esports-themed cosmetics for Rainbow Six Siege. The platform allows players to browse and purchase team-branded bundles—which typically include weapon skins, uniforms, headgear, and charms—using in-game currency (R6 Credits). In addition to providing a streamlined purchasing process accessible directly from a web browser after signing in with a Ubisoft account, the platform also ensures immediate delivery of items into players’ in-game inventories. A revenue-sharing model is an integral component, with a portion of each sale allocated to the esports organizations represented by the cosmetic bundles.
In parallel to its standard offerings, the R6Share Web Shop features limited-time bundles designed to coincide with esports events. One such offering is the Reload Bundle, which includes specific cosmetics such as a Reload drone skin and operator card background, and is aligned with the RE:LOAD event in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This initiative reinforces Ubisoft’s approach of integrating exclusive in-game items with live event engagement while supporting the financial sustainability of esports teams through revenue sharing.
