Tangshan Sanyou and Circ have entered into a strategic partnership aimed at advancing the production of recycled cellulosic fibers, particularly lyocell, within the textile industry. Tangshan Sanyou, a leading manufacturer of cellulose fibers, will work closely with Circ, a U.S.-based innovator in textile-to-textile recycling, to scale the integration of recycled materials into commercial fiber production.
Under the agreement, Tangshan Sanyou has committed to a five-year purchase of recycled pulp from Circ’s first commercial-scale facility, which is expected to begin operations in 2028. This pulp will “be used to produce lyocell staple fibers containing 30% recycled content, supporting industry efforts to increase circularity and reduce environmental impact.”
More than a supply agreement, this collaboration reflects a shared commitment to building resilient, sustainable supply chains. By leveraging each partner’s strengths in manufacturing and innovation, the initiative addresses growing industry demand for responsible, high-quality, and traceable fiber solutions.
