Clean the Sky – Curated Eco-Friendly Routes

Thailand’s ‘Green Tourism Collections’ launch is signals a bold push toward sustainable tourism, launched by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT). Officially unveiled in Bangkok, the initiative introduces 20 curated eco-travel routes spanning 10 ‘Green Cities,’ including Chiang Mai, Bangkok, and Krabi. Developed in collaboration with EU partners, the program ensures compliance with global sustainability benchmarks — positioning Thailand to attract the growing market of eco-conscious travelers.

Routes are organized into seven categories, from green accommodations to low-impact activities, all led by certified, community-aligned operators. The program also debuts the ‘Green Mayor’ initiative, empowering local leaders to integrate environmental practices at the municipal level. With immersive experiences and targeted international promotion, Green Tourism Collections elevates Thailand as a global model for responsible travel.
