The CHERRY KW 550 MX LP is a wireless mechanical keyboard featuring CHERRY’s MX Low Profile 2.0 switches, which deliver a short, fast keystroke with reduced acoustic output and an overall height under 22 mm. Its compact 96 % layout preserves a full numeric keypad while freeing desk space, and the keyboard’s construction includes abrasion-resistant, double-shot PBT keycaps and stable fold-out feet for adjustable typing angles. Backlighting consists of dimmable white key illumination plus additional color LEDs for status and special keys, combining functionality with a minimalist aesthetic.
Connectivity is managed through three Bluetooth 5.2 channels and a dedicated USB-C cable channel, permitting simultaneous pairing with up to four devices and effortless switching between them. The removable USB-A to USB-C cable doubles for data transfer and charging the internal lithium battery, and an RGB LED beneath the CHERRY logo indicates battery status in real time.
