Diane von Furstenberg launches OKO, a consumer packaged goods brand co-created with chef Jane Coxwell. The idea originated from years of culinary collaboration during international travels, where Coxwell prepared vegetable-based dishes using straightforward, fresh ingredients. Later, when von Furstenberg experienced a period of illness, Coxwell developed cleaner adaptations of these recipes. According to von Furstenberg, these blends played a role in her recovery, which in turn led to the decision to make them commercially available.

In terms of product composition, OKO features smooth blends of vegetables and nuts that can function as sauces, dips, or flavor bases. The initial three-pack ($29.85) consists of ‘Beet Ginger Blend,’ ‘Carrot Turmeric Blend,’ and ‘Cauliflower Lemon Blend,’ each with distinct flavor characteristics.

Furthermore, OKO is certified vegan, Whole30 Approved, gluten-free, and plant-based, and it partners with CleanHub and 1% for the Planet to integrate sustainability initiatives into its operations.
