Tell us about yourself.

Well, I’m a graphic designer, animator, leisure-time illustrator, eclectic reader, a wanderer, and cautiously curious; I like animals and Frank Zappa songs, movie posters, and Greta Gerwing (she’s a gift to the world). I’m from Bogotá but would love to live on a farm, raising capybaras and growing onions. Otherwise, I’m not that tall, soft-spoken, and half-deaf.

Tell us about your most memorable travel experience.

Oh, believe it or not, I don’t have one experience more memorable than another: on every trip I take, I’m always looking for something special to connect with. The first time I went to a wasteland was when I went into the sea; my first trip just with friends, a tour through the towns of Boyacá with the person I love, and so on. It’s hard to choose just one, especially because I think I still have so many places to visit, so many landscapes to enjoy, and so much beauty to discover.

Dead or alive, who would you like to join you on an adventure?

My partner is the engine that ignites my life, and with her, I feel peace of mind anywhere. My second choice would definitely be Carl Sagan.
