The latest Strava app update has been launched by the running, cyclist and hiking app as a way to further enhance the user experience with artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities and even cheater detection. The updates will be rolling out in the weeks ahead with Strava subscription holders able to access the AI-powered route planning feature in the Maps tab now. This includes the ability to search out routes based on user-generated data, current location and more.
The Strava app update will also expand the AI-Powered Leaderboard Integrity feature to help eliminate cheaters on running and cycling paths with a reported 4.45-million activity logs already removed. This will provide added peace of mind for users who want to authentically enjoy competition with others on the platform.
