Harlequins Rugby Club has introduced a digital ticketing platform that is specifically designed to improve accessibility for disabled supporters. Developed in consultation with accessibility experts Nimbus Disability, this initiative reflects direct responsiveness to fan feedback.

The new system allows registered users to independently purchase accessible seating and complimentary Blue Badge parking online at any time. This move, which incorporates the Access Card framework to streamline accommodation requests, eliminates previous requirements for phone-based bookings during office hours. The automated digital ticketing platform maintains human support options through traditional ticketing channels — a move that balances technological convenience with personalized assistance needs.

These changes coincide with Disability Pride Month and complement existing club programs like Access Day. Other sports franchises may view this as an operational model for modernizing their own accessibility protocols.
