H2G Green Limited has outlined its strategic vision to consolidate Singapore’s role as a liquefied natural gas (LNG) hub while advancing the nation’s net-zero energy objectives. Led by newly appointed CEO Mr. Pek Hak Bin, the company is leveraging its engineering expertise to expand the domestic distribution of LNG—an energy source that has contributed significantly to Singapore’s energy security since its increased reliance on imported LNG from 2013. This initiative is part of a broader national agenda to diversify energy sources and support decarbonisation efforts amid rising energy consumption and evolving market demands in the region.
In parallel with its LNG-focused efforts, H2G Green is pursuing a dual strategy that also explores biomass-to-hydrogen conversion and other renewable energy innovations. Through its subsidiary operations, such as GasHubUnited Utility Private Limited, the company is enhancing last-mile distribution capabilities for LNG while maintaining high safety standards. This integrated approach is designed to support Singapore’s mid- to long-term goals for energy security and sustainable development, positioning H2G Green as a key contributor to the nation’s transition towards net-zero carbon emissions.
