TiMi Studio Group has announced the inaugural Delta Force Invitational (DFI), an esports tournament for its free-to-play first-person shooter Delta Force, to be held in China in September 2025. The competition will feature teams from eight regions competing for a total prize pool of $500,000 (approximately £373,215), with the sum divided between the open qualifying stage and the Grand Finals. Registration for the open qualifiers, which run until July 27, 2025, is open to more than 1,000 teams, and the qualifying rounds will take place from August 2 to 16 with a dedicated $10,000 prize pool. From each region, 12 teams will advance to the Grand Finals, for which exact dates and venue details are to be confirmed.

Organisers have confirmed that eligible regions include Europe, North America, Japan, Korea and others, all vying for the main prize pool in September. The DFI launch forms part of a broader esports roadmap by TiMi Studio Group in partnership with Team Jade, which also features an Elite Invitational on July 26 and Season Three of the Global League in October. The announcement coincides with Delta Force’s upcoming console release on August 19, 2025, aligning the tournament with the title’s expansion into cross-platform play and its broader competitive ecosystem.
